Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) Christian staff organized a cake cutting ceremony in connection with the celebrations of Christmas, on January 2nd, 2018

Prof. Dr. Sarwat N. Mirza, Vice Chancellor, PMAS-AAUR was the chief guest while Deans, Directors, and Christian employees attended the ceremony.

In his address, PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor said that the Christian community is an important part of our society and are extending significant services in the sectors of education, health and other fields of life. He said that that Islam teaches the lesson of peace, friendship and the promotion of inter faith harmony which is dire need of the hour. He said that we must forget our all differences for the prosperity of the country. He congratulated the organizers for organizing a good ceremony.

On the occasion, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sarwat N. Mirza along with Faculty members cut the Christmas cake. At the end, Principal Officers and senior faculty members extended Christmas greetings to the participants. A special prayer was also offered for the peace and prosperity of the country.
