PEEF Scholarship Cards Distribution Ceremony

Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarships distribution ceremony held at Pir Mehr Ali Shah, Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), here on Jan 29, 2024.

The ceremony was organized by PMAS-AAUR Directorate of Financial Assistance and University Advancement (FA&UA) in which Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Vice Chancellor of PMAS-AAUR was the chief guest.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem, PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to PEEF for their continuous and valuable support for higher education in Pakistan. He praised the Directorate of Financial Assistance for efficiently processing the cases of deserving and needy students in coordination with various donor agencies. He advised the scholarship recipients to work hard to achieve their individual and collective objectives and explore new research techniques in agriculture and allied fields.

Prof. Dr. Tariq Mukhtar, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, in his welcome address, briefed the audience on the academic and research activities of the Faculty of Agriculture, commending the hard work and professionalism of the Officials of Directorate of Financial Assistance.

Prof. Dr. Arfan Yousaf, the Dean Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, shared his views and experiences with the students, expressing their appreciation for the transparent and smooth selection process of the PEEF Scholarship.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences expressed his views about emerging trends in Higher Education. Furthermore, he advised the scholarship awarded students that they must pay back to the society by playing a vital role in welfare, development and for betterment of our beloved Country.

At the end, scholarship cards and certificates were distributed among awardees.
