Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) delegation headed by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem met Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider Khan.

Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem along with PMAS-AAUR Director Sports Dr Saad Imran Director Planning Dr Kamran Ahmed and Attock Campus Director Dr Rafat Hayat congratulated Sardar Salim Haider Khan on assuming the post of Governor Punjab Chancellor of the University and presented a shield and a bouquet of flowers.

Speaking on the occasion Governor Punjab said that the development of the country and the nation is related to the promotion of higher education and the country could not make progress without investing in education.

Governor Punjab assured the Vice Chancellor that the government would extend full support in order to promote educational & research activities at universities. He further said that all possible steps will be taken to solve the problems faced by the universities.
