A three-day (20-22 Oct, 2025) 2 nd International Precision Agriculture Conference (IPAC) 2025 held at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR). The conference was organized by PMAS-AAUR Center for Precision Agriculture (C4PA) with the theme “Transforming Agriculture through Digital Innovations”. Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan (S.I, H.I) Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) was the chief guest of inaugural session while Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi was the Chief Guest of Concluding session. MPA Punjab & Parliamentary Secretary for Health & Population Ms. Asma Naz Abbasi was also participated as the guest of honor.

The Conference was organized in both physical and online mode where some international speakers travelled to Pakistan and physically joined the event and some of them delivered their talks online. The conference was also anticipated to inspire further exploration & innovative thinking concerning the Transformation in Agriculture and to provide opportunity for participants to establish connections with peers and experts, fostering potential collaborations and joint initiatives.

While addressing the concluding ceremony, Chief Guest Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Federal Minister for Railways said that our participants had the privilege of listening to commendable intellectual speakers from around the world, shedding light on critical subject matters that shape the future of precision agriculture.

While addressing the conference, Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan (S.I, H.I) Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) said that we need an integrated strategy to promote and make digital and precision agriculture popular in the country as it is the need of the hour due to climate change.

In his address, Vice Chancellor PMAS-AAUR Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman said that the era of automation, artificial intelligence, and precision farming has already begun, and it is imperative that we, too, adapt and transform our practices accordingly. He thanked all the international and national guest speakers, participants and presenters for their valuable participation in the Conference.

The speakers presented their papers and talks in eight different technical sessions. Apart from this, Agricultural Expo, IT Exhibition, Food Fest, Bird show, Art & Craft Exhibition, Poster and Oral presentations were also the part of the conference.
